The perfect hiking holiday on the Seiser Alm – South Tyrol
Hiking on the Seiser Alm, the largest high Alpine pasture in Europe

Discover the Dolomites the most traditional way as you gaze far and wide over the endless mountains of the Dolomites, at one with the boundless countryside: Summer on the Seiser Alm promises it all. If you come to the Dolomites with hiking in mind, you will find breathtaking countryside around the Seiser Alm: The Dolomites, most beautiful mountains in the world and Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009, with the characteristic peaks of the Langkofel, Plattkofel and the Schlern massif. Alongside the incredible mountain peaks you will find blossoming mountain meadows with over 790 species of flowers and ferns, 300 days of sun and 56 square kilometres of Europe’s largest mountain plateau: an irresistible call to the Seiser Alm and a hiking holiday in the Dolomites.

450km of hiking trails for every preference and fitness level

The Dolomites Region Seiser Alm boasts 450 kilometres of hiking trails to suit every taste: Leisure hikers can head out on a mountain cabin tour, while the more ambitious will be drawn to the peaks of the Dolomites. Farm-to-farm walks, tours of the mountain meadows and culinary hikes at the foot of the Seiser Alm are also a great attraction for long walks in spring and autumn. Numerous trails have a theme which is closely linked to the Seiser Alm: from the Geologist’s trail to the Oachner Höfeweg Farm Trail through to the “Path of Legends” saga trail.
